From 2019 to 2025, Thenmaradchi Cricket Academy (TCA) steadily expanded its grassroots impact across the Thenmaradchi region. Beginning with structured weekend coaching sessions in 2019, the academy focused on building strong technical foundations in batting, bowling, fielding, and fitness for junior and senior age groups. In 2020 and 2021, despite challenges, TCA maintained small-group training programs and skill-development camps, ensuring continuity in player growth and discipline.
Between 2022 and 2023, the academy strengthened its match exposure initiatives by organizing friendly matches and local practice tournaments, giving young cricketers valuable competitive experience. Senior mentors and volunteer coaches provided guidance both on and off the field, reinforcing leadership, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
In 2024 and 2025, TCA further improved training structure, expanded participation, and upgraded essential practice equipment through the support of members and well-wishers. The academy also increased community engagement, encouraging parental involvement and youth empowerment through sport.
Over these years, TCA has not only developed promising cricketers but also built a strong cricketing culture rooted in opportunity, discipline, and community pride—laying a solid foundation for the future of the academy.
